Day 1 – Lake Manyara.
You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha at 08.00am.Depart for Lake Manyara to arrive for an afternoon game drive at the park.The park is famous for the many bird and animal species. Dinner and overnight at campsite.
Day 2. – Ngorongoro.
After breakfast proceed with your vehicle down to the crater, enjoy picnic lunch at the crater ,ascend back to campsite for dinner and overnight.
Day 3. -Serengeti.
After breakfast depart for Serengeti passing through Olduvai Gorge the site of the Leakey family discovery of fossils of human and animal ancestors dating back to almost two million years . Meals and overnight at campsite.
Day 4. -Serengeti.
Morning and afternoon spent driving and exploring the Serengeti plains, in search for wild game such as Lions, Elephant, Giraffe, different kinds of Antelope and birds. All your meals and overnight will be at the campsite.
Day 5. Serengeti / Arusha / Nairobi
After breakfast depart for Arusha to arrive by 12.00 noon for lunch and also to join the 1.30pm shuttle bus for Nairobi. Arrival at Nairobi will be in the early evening. Drop off at your hotel within the city center booked on bed and breakfast basis.
Day 6: Nairobi - Masai Mara.
08.00 hrs: Leave Nairobi for Masai Mara game reserve stopping for panoramic views of the Rift Valley and for picnic lunch at Narok. Upon arrival, have a game drive to track elephants, leopards, cheetah, lions, buffaloes and other game en-route. Dinner and overnight at camp.
Day 7: Masai Mara.
06.30 hrs: After breakfast, proceed for a full day game drive in the Mara Plains.Many animals and birds can be seen. You have the option of having lunch at the Mara Hippo Pool. Continue with a further game drive in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 8: Masai Mara.
Another wonderful day spent exploring this great park After lunch you can take in a nature walk or a visit to the tribal villages. All meals and overnight at the camp.
Day 9: Masai Mara - Nakuru.
After breakfast have your last game drive at Masai Mara followed by departure for Nakuru. Enjoy a hot lunch at your Narok hotel. This will be followed by a further drive to Nakuru to arrive in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Nakuru camp or budget hotel.
DAY 10: NAKURU /LAKE BOGORIA – BARINGO
You will depart Nakuru after an early breakfast for a drive to Lake Bogoria. The place is famous for the geysers and hot springs and also acts as a breeding ground for Flamingoes which can be seen at a distance.It feels like being in a sauna.Depart for lunch at the hotel and head for Lake Baringo where you will enjoy a boat ride to the Island. Bird such as Fish Eagle and smaller crocodile species can be seen at Baringo. Depart in the late evening for Nakuru to arrive at you hotel for dinner and overnight.
DAY 11: NAKURU
Enjoy an early morning drive at Lake Nakuru National Park famous for its many Pink Flamingoes and animals.Depart in the mid morning for Nairobi to have lunch and to depart for Arusha at 2.00pm. Arrive Arusha in the early evening. Drop aff at your Arusha hotel booked on bed and breakfast basis.
Day 12 You will be picked up from your hotel at 08.00am and be driven to the park gate of Kilimanjaro. Morning walk through the Kilimanjaro forest and spend your night at Mandara Hut. 2,700 metres above sea level.
Day 13 You start your trekking early in the morning up to Horombo Hut for dinner and overnight 3,720 metres above sea level.
Day 14 The trekking today will take you up to Kibo hut for dinner and overnight 5,680 metres above sea level.
Day 15 This day will be the final ascent to the summit before dawn, to reach the Uhuru Peak,5,895 metres above sea level. You will then descend down to Horombo hut where you will spend the night.
Day 16 Morning descend to your hotel, where the afternoon will be at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Capricon Hotel or similar.
Day 17 Drive back to Arusha.
